Mudcats to Host National Anthem Tryouts on March 9

Open tryouts announced for Carolina Mudcats National Anthem singers

ZEBULON, N.C. - The Carolina Mudcats will hold open tryouts for National Anthem singers on Saturday, March 9 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Five County Stadium in Zebulon. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. on the Highway 264, third base side of the stadium. Auditions will be held on

ZEBULON, N.C. - The Carolina Mudcats will hold open tryouts for National Anthem singers on Saturday, March 9 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Five County Stadium in Zebulon. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. on the Highway 264, third base side of the stadium. Auditions will be held on a first-come, first-served basis.

All singers, including solo acts or groups, wishing to perform the National Anthem at Five County Stadium before a game this season must audition at this tryout event. Those who have performed the "Star Spangled Banner" in previous years at a Mudcats game are also encouraged to audition again.
All auditions must be performed a cappella and on the field at Five County Stadium. There is no age requirement. All performers with any further questions regarding this event are encouraged to call the Mudcats front office at (919) 269-CATS (2287), or email Cassie Tomasello at [email protected].
The 2019 season officially begins on Thursday, April 4 at Grainger Stadium in Kinston versus the Down East Wood Ducks. Carolina's 2019 home schedule, however, begins with Opening Night 2019 on Thursday, April 11 versus the Wilmington Blue Rocks at Five County Stadium. 
Fans looking to purchase tickets for the new season should either call a front office representative at (919) 269-CATS (2287), visit carolinamudcats.com/tickets or purchase in-person at the Five County Stadium Box Office. 
Full season, half season and mini plan ticket packages as well as group ticket options are also still currently available by calling (919) 269-CATS (2287) and by visiting Five County Stadium.
