Bowie, MD - (February 20, 2026) – The Chesapeake Baysox, Double-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles, are thrilled to announce their action-packed promotional schedule for the 2026 season. Fans can look forward to 15 postgame fireworks shows, exciting giveaways, and the return of beloved theme nights and promotions at Prince George’s Stadium.

Opening Night

Opening Night at Prince George’s Stadium is set for Tuesday, April 7 at 6:35 pm against the Erie SeaWolves, featuring a magnet schedule giveaway for all fans in attendance.

Fireworks Nights

Postgame fireworks will light up the sky following 15 Baysox games, as well as during a spectacular Fourth of July Celebration.

• Friday and Saturday Kids Run the Bases: After the game, kids 12 and under get to run the bases just like the Baysox!

• Sunday Family Fun Day: Free Kids Park (12:00–12:30 p.m.), player autographs, and postgame base running for all fans.

• Chesapeake Oyster Catchers: Following an exciting 2025 campaign, the Oyster Catchers will return for nine Fridays in 2026. (April 10, April 24, May 8, May 22, June 5, June 19, July 17, and August 7)

• Cangrejos Fantasmas de Chesapeake: The popular “Chesapeake Ghost Crabs” return for three games (Sunday, May 24 Wednesday, June 24, and Thursday, July 23) as part of MiLB’s Copa de la Diversión initiative.

The Baysox open the 2026 season on the road on Thursday, April 2against the Hartford Yard Goats. Chesapeake’s home opener at Prince George’s Stadium is scheduled for Tuesday, April 7th against the Erie SeaWolves, with first pitch set for 6:35 p.m.
