1) In your opinion, what's the most overrated stat?
"I think batting average is way overrated. I wish it never was a thing, but because it is, it is looked at and it definitely matters. I'm a big believer in the process and grinding out at bats and trying to square the ball up as much as possible. If they had a percentage of balls hit on the barrel, I'd be all in on that one."
2. What was your favorite TV show when growing up?
"Rocket Power."
3.    Can you play any instruments?
"I played Piano and Saxophone when I was young, but I liked to play outside so it didn't go well with practice time."
4. What is your favorite cereal?
"Honey Bunches of Oats."
5. What was the worst punishment you received at school?
"Getting sent to the principal's office for having fun and wrestling with a friend at recess."
6. What's the strangest talent you have?
"Above average ping pong player."
7. What was your childhood nickname?
"Everyone I knew as a kid would call me Nate, but in the baseball world, I've been Orf always and forever."
8. Why your walkup song?
"First of all, I hate picking walkouts. But I love that one because I think it describes how I want to play. It's instrumental, it's not a really intense sound, but it still has the bass coming in a hitting, and that's how I am. I want to play a quiet game with a good pop." (His is "Heart Upon My Sleeve" by Avicii at 1:06)
9. What's your favorite flavor/brand of Chips?
"Original Sun Chips."
10. Which way does your toilet paper hang on the wall - over or under?
"Whatever way - just preferably not the hotel kind."
11. What is one thing on your bucket list you want to accomplish?
"Sky Dive. It's my biggest fear, but I feel I just have to do it."
12. If you could have any one superpower, which would you choose?
"Fly."
13. Who is someone you try to emulate or inspires you in your play?
"I grew up as a huge Albert Pujols fan. I got to watch him every night on TV. That consistency he had with St. Louis was definitely something I wanted to emulate."
14. If you could be anything besides a pro athlete, what would you be?
"I'd probably be in the concrete business. My dad runs a business and my brother works for him. I probably could have easily ended up there, which for me, gives me perspective on how I get to come out and be a baseball player every day. Hot days, rainy days, to go out there anyways. It makes it easier to realize how special it is just to come play baseball every day."
15. What is your favorite quote?
"Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect.
Mark Twain"

"For me, it's so true on how I want to be as a person, as a baseball player, as a worker, before games, after games. I think it just says be aware of yourself and what you look like. If you look like everybody else, something needs to change. It confirmed a lot of what I believe but it put into words what I believe and how I want to live out my life."
