The Pacific Coast League revealed its 2018 All-Star team for the 2018 Huntington Bank Triple-A All-Star Game presented by Gildan taking place on Wednesday, July 11 at Huntington Park, home of the Columbus Clippers. Colorado Springs players participating in the 31st Triple-A mid-summer classic are catcher Christian Bethancourt and infielder Nate Orf . The roster is made up of 13 elected players who have received the most votes from ballots submitted by club's field managers and general managers, members of the media and broadcasters, and online fan voting. The elected players are joined by 20 additional All-Stars selected by Pacific Coast League officials.

"We are proud to see these two represent Colorado Springs and the talented Milwaukee Brewers organization as All-Stars this year," said Sky Sox General Manager Chris Phillips. "Along with their teammates, they have brought outstanding baseball to Security Service Field and fans should expect great things to come from them as well as the rest of the 2018 Sky Sox as we chase our third PCL championship."
Bethancourt, in his first season with the Brewers since signing as a free agent on January 8, 2018, was elected and will be representing Colorado Springs as the Pacific Coast League starting catcher. Bethancourt has been named a mid-season All-Star twice in 2012 and 2013 while with Double-A Mississippi (Braves) in the Southern League along with being a MiLB.com Organization All-Star for three straight seasons from 2012 to 2014 in Atlanta's organization. Orf, in his fifth full season with Milwaukee after signing as a non-drafted free agent on June 14, 2013 out of Baylor University, was selected and will be representing the Sky Sox as an All-Star reserve infielder. This marks the Missouri native's first career selection as a mid-season All-Star. The two-time MiLB.com organization All-Star is currently leading the team in hits (76), runs (48), doubles (16), walks (33), and hit-by-pitch (15) and second in games played (70), RBI (37), and total bases (110). Overall, he is batting .298 with a .404 on-base percentage and is third in the league in stolen bases (18). Defensively, Orf has appeared in 35 games at second base, seven at third base, 22 at shortstop, and four in the outfield while only recording four errors total.

The announcing team of Scott BraunCliff FloydJonathan Mayo, and Alexa Datt will bring the action to viewers nationwide beginning at 7 p.m. EDT/5 p.m. MDT.
