The Colorado Springs Sky Sox second-to-last homestand of the 2018 season begins on Friday, August 17, when the team hosts the Omaha Storm Chasers -Triple-A affiliate of the Kansas City Royals - for three games. There will be an off day on Monday the 20th, before hosting the Iowa Cubs-Triple-A

The Colorado Springs Sky Sox second-to-last homestand of the 2018 season begins on Friday, August 17, when the team hosts the Omaha Storm Chasers -Triple-A affiliate of the Kansas City Royals - for three games. There will be an off day on Monday the 20th, before hosting the Iowa Cubs-Triple-A affiliate of the Chicago Cubs-for three more games to complete the homestand, running through Thursday, August 23.
On Friday, August 17, the Sky Sox will be continuing the "Cheers to 45 More Years" campaign as the team will wear replica "Socko" Colorado Springs Sky Sox Jerseys from the 2000s era, which will be auctioned off at the end of August at SkySoxJerseys.com. Following the 6:40 p.m. scheduled game, there will be 2000s movie-themed Friday night post-game fireworks presented by Air Academy Federal Union.
Saturday, August 18, features Harry Potter Night, one of the most popular theme nights of the entire season. On this night, the Sky Sox will be presenting Harry Potter themed promotions in between innings, including giveaways, characters, games, and food and drink specials. Following the conclusion of the game, there will be Harry Potter themed fireworks presented by Wolf Ranch Community Council.
On Sunday, August 19, fans can enjoy the ever-popular 50-cent hot dogs presented by Safeway available at all concessions throughout the game. Fans have the option of bringing $5 worth of school supplies that day, which they can trade in for a free ticket to Sunday's game. There will also be a backpack giveaway, presented by McDivitt Law Firm. Sunday is also Skin Cancer Awareness Day at Security Service Field. Following the game, YMCA Kids Club kids will have the ability to run the bases.
On Tuesday, August 21, fans can enjoy another $2 Tuesday promotion, presented by Boost Mobile, as the Sky Sox begin their three-game set against the Iowa Cubs. Upper-reserve tickets, parking, and Coors and Coors Light are all just $2.
On Wednesday, August 22, the Sky Sox will be hosting a Community Ticket Day, where fans can pick up free ticket vouchers at any Pikes Peak Library District location, courtesy of NOVA Home Loans.
On Thursday, August 24, the Sky Sox will be hosting their final Military Appreciation Night, presented by Pueblo Motorsports Park and Colorado Military Academy as they wrap up their homestand against the Cubs. The Sky Sox will be wearing Military-style jerseys, which will be auctioned off in-game. Fans can also enjoy another $3 Thirsty Thursday, with $3 upper-reserve tickets, $3 parking, and $3 Blue Moon presented by Sierra Nevada and RMC Coors.
