Long balls by Daniel Schneemann and Jhonkensy Noel propelled the visiting Columbus Clippers to a 7-5 defeat of the Louisville Bats on Saturday. The win gives Columbus a 3-2 edge in the series at Louisville Slugger Field heading into Sunday’s finale.

Right-hander Adam Oller tossed 5.0 solid innings, allowing two runs on three hits with a pair of strikeouts. Nic Enright (1-0) was the winner with a scoreless inning of relief work.

Highly rated prospect Kyle Manzardo led the way with three hits for the Clippers including two doubles, raising his batting average to .278.
