Final Homestand of the Year Bursting With Funn

Sorry to say, the Flying Squirrels 2017 season is coming to a close. The year wraps up at The Diamond with an eight-day blowout bash of fireworks, free stuff and more free stuff. Get your final fix of funn before the year ends. 

Monday, August 28
Get the pups to the park one more time before the season ends. The final homestand begins with Bark in the Park (dog-friendly sections 101-103, 203-204 and General Admission first-base side). Dog bone chew toy giveaway to the first 250 dogs, presented by Ardent Craft Ales. Tuesday, August 29
Keep on truckin' with our straw trucker cap giveaway first 1,000 fans 21 and older presented by Budweiser and media partner CBS 6.
Tuesday is also the final Silver Squirrels game as well as Charlottesville and UVA Night. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. with first pitch at 6:35 p.m.  Get your tickets here.

Thursday, August 31
The Flying Squirrels wrap up the series against Altoona with an In-Your-Face Fireworks celebration, presented by Steak 'n Shake. The Squirrels will welcome in residents and businesses from the area for Scott's Addition Neighborhood Night. A nod to Scott's Addition's booming dinning scene with $5 burgers throughout the game. Friday, September 1
Free Shirt Friday & Happy Hour! Boulevard to the Bay long-sleeve T-shirt giveaway to the first 1,000 fans (15 and older) presented by Capital One. Enjoy $1.95 happy hour beverages from 6-8 p.m with our friends from K95. Also, Kids run the bases presented by Richmond Family Magazine. Saturday, September 2
The Flying Squirrels are bringing back-to-back fireworks to The Diamond for the final weekend of the year. In-Your-Face Fireworks presented by Food Lion follow the game. Its also Arts Night presented by Culture Works featuring creative sprints by artist Noah Scalin, the Poe Museum, Richmond Urban Dance and more. Kids run the bases presented by Richmond Family Magazine. Sunday, September 3
Sunday Night Baseball for the first and only time in 2017 will be followed by In-Your-Face fireworks presented by Food Lion. Keep the kids busy with a Flying Squirrels fidget spinner giveaway first 1,000 Kids Club members (free, must show membership card) Flying Squirrels team poster giveaway first 1,000 fans (all ages). Kids Club End of Season Buffet Bash in Little Caesar's Party Pavilion (all-you-can eat buffet 4:30-6 p.m.; $17 for adults, $12 kids 14 and younger. Monday, September 4
Say goodbye to the 2017 Flying Squirrels by planning into next year. The first 2,000 fans will receive a free 2018 magnet schedule presented by Food Lion. Check out the all-you-can eat Labor Day picnic starting at 11 a.m. First pitch is set for 12:05 p.m.
