Fast start, bullpen help Miracle past St. Lucie, 7-4

Blankenhorn gave the Miracle a 2-0 lead in the first inning with a two-run double to right.
After St. Lucie cut the deficit in half in the top of the second, the Miracle answered with a four-run bottom half. With the bases loaded and one out, Mark Contreras pushed the lead to 3-1 with an RBI single to right.
Trailing 6-1 in the fifth, the Mets used four hits and a wild pitch to move within 6-4.
Contreras extended the Miracle lead to 7-4 with a solo home run in the seventh. The Miracle right fielder finished 3-4 with two RBI's.
The three-game series continues Tuesday night in Fort Myers. First pitch is set for 7:00 p.m.
