Jaden Taylor is in his second season in Fort Wayne as the Broadcasting and Media Relations Manager. Taylor works as the main media relations contact for the team and broadcasts all home games on TV and road games on the radio. Taylor also acts as the Head of Communications and a broadcaster for MLB’s Arizona Fall League and MLB Desert Invitational and provides play-by-play for Arizona Christian University.

A native of Omaha, Nebraska, Taylor graduated from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communications at Arizona State University. He was the Sports Director at Arizona State’s student radio station, Blaze Radio, providing play-by-play commentary for eight separate Arizona State sports while also broadcasting select sports on Pac-12 Insider and ESPN+. Taylor previously worked as the play-by-play broadcaster for the Kalamazoo Growlers of the Northwoods League, where he was named the Northwoods League Broadcaster of the Year in 2024.

Mike Maahs returns for his 24th season broadcasting professional baseball in Fort Wayne. He began his broadcasting career in 1990, calling high school basketball games on the radio. Since then, he has provided play-by-play and color commentary for football, basketball, and baseball games at the high school, college, and professional levels on radio, television, and online. He can be heard as the play-by-play voice of the Fort Wayne Mastodons men’s and women’s volleyball teams. Maahs has also covered a variety of sports for the Fort Wayne Journal Gazette, the Fort Wayne News Sentinel, and the Angola Herald-Republican newspapers for a combined total of 13 years.

Andy Jachim returns for his second season in Fort Wayne as the Broadcasting and Media Relations Assistant. Jachim also works as a freelance broadcaster with various colleges in the Chicagoland area, including Benedictine, Loyola-Chicago, and others, with certain games airing on platforms like ESPN+ and FloSports. A former college baseball player, Jachim graduated from North Central College in Naperville, Illinois, and broadcast various Cardinals sports, including the DIII Football National Championship. Before Fort Wayne, Jachim spent time as a Broadcasting Intern for the Windy City Thunderbolts (2023) of the Frontier League and the radio voice of the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters (2024) of the Northwoods League.
