HERO OF THE GAME: Nominate A Local Hero

The Fort Wayne TinCaps, along with OmniSource LLC and Steel Dynamics Inc., are saluting local heroes throughout the 2023 season and need your help! The team is seeking nominations for military (active duty and veterans), first responders, healthcare workers, and educators to be honored as a "Hero of the Game"

The Fort Wayne TinCaps, along with OmniSource LLC and Steel Dynamics Inc., are saluting local heroes throughout the 2023 season and need your help!

The team is seeking nominations for military (active duty and veterans), first responders, healthcare workers, and educators to be honored as a "Hero of the Game" at Parkview Field.

Selected nominees will receive VIP treatment. This includes not only tickets to a game for them and their family, but also a special ballpark tour and in-game recognition.

The TinCaps (High-A Midwest League affiliate of the San Diego Padres) are set to begin their 2023 season at West Michigan on April 6. Opening Day at Parkview Field is Tuesday, April 11 (6:35 p.m.) against the Cleveland Guardians-affiliated Lake County Captains. Season ticket plans and group outings are currently on sale. Single game tickets will go on sale later in February.
