DAYTON, OHIO – The TinCaps had their three-game winning streak snapped against the Dragons 4-1 at Day Air Ballpark.

The lone run scored by Fort Wayne (4-5) was a solo home run by third baseman Devin Ortiz in the fifth inning. The New Jersey native has four hits and three RBIs in his last two games.

Catcher Ethan Salas (No. 1 Padres prospect) notched the only other extra-base hit with a double in the fourth. Salas has two doubles and seven hits on the season.

On the mound, right-hander Enmanuel Pinales began with two scoreless innings, striking out three of the first six hitters he faced. He pitched through the fourth inning and allowed three earned runs in the third.

Out of the bullpen, David Morgan pitched two innings and allowed one run. Mitchell Miller followed him up with two scoreless innings, lowering his season ERA to 1.93.
