FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Fort Wayne TinCaps have released their schedule for the 2027 season, with Opening Day set for Friday, April 2 against the Lansing Lugnuts (Athletics affiliate).
“Coming off a historic last homestand where we attracted over 40,000 fans, we are so excited to announce the 2027 schedule,” TinCaps President Mike Nutter said. “TinCaps baseball at award-winning Parkview Field is as popular as ever, and we believe the 2027 schedule will be no different. ”
The 132-game campaign features 66 home dates with most series going six games from Tuesday-Sunday. In 2027, the ‘Caps will be home for Opening Weekend (April 2-5), Jackie Robinson Day (April 15), and Father’s Day (June 20).
Fort Wayne will also host the High-A Midwest League affiliates of the Chicago Cubs, Cleveland Guardians, Cincinnati Reds, and Detroit Tigers in 7 of the 12 home stands. Promotions, fireworks nights, and game times will be announced later.

Season ticket packages and renewals for 2027 are available now. Returning again, fans can purchase season ticket plans directly through TinCaps.com. Packages are flexible for fans, with options including 12 games, 17 games, a half season, a full season, and even more customization.

Fans who renew or buy a new season ticket plan by Sept. 15 with a paid deposit will once again receive a free 2027 season ticket holder jersey, one per account.

This winter, Parkview Field’s Holiday Lights presented by Rohrman Automotive, Paul Davis, and Lear Corporation, returns to downtown Fort Wayne for its third edition. The event will be hosted at the ballpark for 48 nights from Nov. 12 to January 2 with 2.0 million lights on display, a 100% increase from its first year.
The Fort Wayne TinCaps, the High-A affiliate of the San Diego Padres, have been home to some of the best up-and-coming stars in baseball. Since Fort Wayne’s MiLB franchise was founded in 1993, a total of 237 former players have gone on to appear in Major League Baseball. LHP Robby Snelling (2023) and C Brandon Valenzuela (2021-23) made their MLB debuts this season. Current Padres include OF Ty France (2016), LHP Adrian Morejon (2017), OF Fernando Tatis Jr. (2017), C Luis Campusano (2018), RHP Bradgley Rodriguez (2022-23), and OF Jackson Merrill (2023).
