Generals and Stars washed out on Monday night in Huntsville

Doubleheader scheduled for Tuesday, beginning at 5:30 CT

HUNTSVILLE ALA, (AUGUST 14, 2014 - The Generals and Stars' Monday night game at Joe Davis Stadium has been postponed due to inclement weather in Huntsville. The game will be made up as part of a Tuesday doubleheader, with game one beginning at 5:30 p.m. CT.

This is the first rain postponement of a Generals game since July 14th. The Generals are 6-2 in doubleheader games this season including a pair of sweeps. Jackson swept a twin bill from Birmingham this past Wednesday in Jackson.

Monday's scheduled starter LHP Tyler Olson (7-7, 3.80) will go for the Generals in game one on Tuesday and RHP Moises Hernandez (0-7, 5.57) will start the nightcap. The Huntsville Stars have not yet announced their starters for the twin bill.

After the current road trip concludes, the Generals return to The Ballpark at Jackson for the final homestand of 2014, beginning on Friday, August 18 against the Chattanooga Lookouts.
