HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (May 9, 2013) - The Generals (13-18) dropped their second straight to the Stars (13-20) on Thursday night in Huntsville, 6-2. The Stars lead the current series, two games to one.

RHP Taijuan Walker (L, 3-3 - 5.1,7,4,4,2,7) made his seventh Jackson start Thursday and suffered his first loss since April 20. He had allowed just two earned runs in his last five starts, but surrendered four in 5.1 innings Thursday.

The Stars jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning on a 2-run double off the bat of Jason Rogers.

The Generals trimmed the lead in half after a single from Leury Bonilla (2x4, RBI) plated Vinnie Catricala (0x3, R). On the play, Julio Morban (1x4) was thrown out at the plate trying to score the tying run. That was as close as Jackson got Thursday night.

The Stars added four more runs including a solo home run from Rene Tosoni in the bottom of the fourth inning and solo shots from Brock Kjeldgarrd and Rogers in the eighth.

Jackson pushed across their second run in the game in the top of the seventh inning on an RBI groundout from Brandon Bantz (0x3, RBI).
