Rock Cats Release Giveaway Schedule

The New Britain Rock Cats Baseball Club, the Double-A Eastern League Affiliate of the Minnesota Twins, continue unveiling the 2013 Promotional Calendar with the announcement of 13 Premium Giveaway Games for fans to bring home a free one-of-a-kind premium souvenir.  The Rock Cats have planned several new giveaway events this season including a New Britain Stadium Replica, Scarf, Kids Wrist Band, Kids Batting Glove and Fan Choice Bobblehead Doll where fans have the opportunity to vote to create have their favorite former Rock Cats player bobblehead.  The Rock Cats will also feature a rivalry game in August and fans will get to announce their alliance by selecting a Rally Towel as they enter New Britain Stadium. 

 

The first giveaway item is the always popular magnet schedule which will be given to all fans on Saturday, April 13 (Stone Academy).  Pink will be the popular color on Sunday, April 14 as we support breast cancer awareness on Pink in the Park Day with a Pink T-Shirt giveaway.  Kids will get ready to gear up for their little league seasons with a Rock Cats wrist band giveaway on Sunday, April 28 and a Rock Cats batting glove giveaway on Sunday, May 19.  Fans can stay dry this summer with a Rock Cats umbrella giveaway on Wednesday, May 29 (Holiday Inn Express of Southington).  June features "Paint Your Own Bobblehead" on Saturday, June 15 and Saturday, June 29 will be the "Aluminum Water Bottle Giveaway."

 

Sunday, July 14 will feature the first ever New Britain Stadium Replica Giveaway and the following Friday, July 19 is Joe Mauer Bobblehead giveaway honoring the former Rock Cats star and American League MVP.  Monday, July 22 will feature a Scarf Giveaway on Christmas in July (Shoppes at Farmington Valley).  Sunday, August 4 is the Fan Choice Bobblehead giveaway (Connecticut DOT).  Thursday, August 15 will be rivalry night and fans get to select a Rally Towel (Principal Financial) as they enter.  The final premium giveaway comes on Monday, August 19 with a Rock Cats T-Shirt giveaway.

Individual Tickets for all home games, including the Eastern League All-Star Game go on sale at Fanfest this Saturday beginning at 10AM at New Britain Stadium.  Fans can purchase tickets at the event or call 860-224-8383.  Fanfest is free and open to the public.
