Thank you for your interest in the Hillsboro Hops Fund Grant Program. The Hillsboro Hops Fund accepts grant proposals from nonprofit organizations that specifically support youth baseball or softball. This application will be accepting requests beginning January 1, 2024 until Midnight on January 31st, 2024.
All grant proposals will be reviewed by a selection committee made up of Hillsboro Hops staff and Hillsboro Community Foundation board members. There is one grant cycle annually. Unfortunately, the Fund may receive more requests for support than it can possibly fund. Therefore, some requests will be declined even though they meet all requirements. All applicants will receive a response to their grant request by March 1, 2024.
Restrictions (please read carefully before submitting your application)
• Grants will only be awarded to eligible organizations that operate in the Greater Hillsboro and Portland metro area.
• Grants will not be made to individuals, travel and other club baseball or softball programs, or to groups not related to youth baseball or softball.
• Grants will not be made for general operating costs, salaries, personal scholarships, debt reduction, or fundraising events, including event sponsorship, tickets, or advertising.
• This grant program does not fund multi-year grants or endowments.
• Funding is limited to organizations supporting baseball and softball for children ages 18 and under. However, grant is not intended to support travel expenses and tournament fees.
