The Hillsboro Community Foundation is seeking volunteers to sell 50/50 Raffle tickets at upcoming 2019 Hillsboro Hops home games. The raffle is quickly becoming one of the most consistent fundraising events for the Hillsboro Hops Fund. Money raised from the raffle will help support youth sports programs in and around Washington County by refurbishing fields, supplying equipment to local teams and many other community projects. Volunteers will be responsible for selling 50/50 raffle tickets before the game until the end of the 7th inning. Volunteer opportunities are available for non-profit organizations, corporate partners and individuals.

Non-Profit Organizations: The Hillsboro Hops are excited to offer local non-profits a chance to receive a charitable donation to their organization as well as special PA and reader board recognition during the game as the featured volunteer group of the game. The three non-profits that raise the most money during the season are also eligible to receive additional charitable contributions on behalf of the Hillsboro Hops. Participating groups are required to be a registered 501(c)(3) organization and must be able to provide 8-10 volunteers on their selected game night. Groups are eligible to sign up for multiple games.

Corporate Volunteers: The 50/50 Raffle offers an engaging and meaningful way for corporations to involve employees in community service all while offering a unique team building experience set to the backdrop of a Hillsboro Hops baseball game. Your group will be recognized with a PA and reader board thank you for being the featured volunteers of the game. The corporation must be able to provide 8-10 volunteers on their selected game night.

Individual Volunteers: The 50/50 Raffle is a great way for individuals, such as students looking for community service hours, families looking for a unique group activity or anyone who wants to give back to their community. Your time and effort will be instrumental in helping raise money for the youth of Washington County.

All volunteers will be allowed to stay for the remainder of the Hops game they will be selling at and will receive a food and beverage voucher.
