Nationally Ranked Beavers Make Their Only Appearance in Portland Metro Area

HILLSBORO, OR (February 13, 2018) - The Hillsboro Hops (@HillsboroHops) announced today that Ron Tonkin Field will play host to a game featuring the nationally ranked Oregon State Beavers (@BeaverBaseball) and the University of Portland Pilots (@UPPilotBaseball) on April 24th.First pitch is at 5:00pm with gates opening at the ballpark

HILLSBORO, OR (February 13, 2018) - The Hillsboro Hops (@HillsboroHops) announced today that Ron Tonkin Field will play host to a game featuring the nationally ranked Oregon State Beavers (@BeaverBaseball) and the University of Portland Pilots (@UPPilotBaseball) on April 24^th.
First pitch is at 5:00pm with gates opening at the ballpark at 4:00pm. This will be the only appearance by the Beavers in the Portland Metro area in 2018.

Tickets go on sale to the general public on February 20 at 10:00am online and by phone. Ticket prices will be $35 for Diamond Club seating, $18 premium, $16 field box, $12 field reserved and $7 general admission.
Last year Oregon State went 56-6 overall and 27-3 in conference play and finished ranked #3 in the country. They enter the 2018 season as the consensus #2 team in the country across five different preseason polls.
Portland is led by former Pilots legend Geoff Loomis as they look to build their program up. Loomis played for the Pilots from 1990-1992 and is a member of the UP Athletic Hall of Fame.
