Hops Announce Transportation Options

Fans Will Find Over 2,000 Parking Spots On-Site at the Ballpark or They Can Catch the Hops Shuttle From the Orenco Station MAX Light Rail Stop
June 12, 2013

Hillsboro, OR (June 12, 2013) - The Hillsboro Hops (@HillsboroHops) announced today that they have developed several transportation options for fans who will be attending their home games.

For fans driving to the ballpark, there will be over 2,000 parking spaces on site. Parking on site at the ballpark is only $5.

For fans taking MAX Light Rail Service to Orenco Station, there will be a free light rail shuttle to the ballpark for fans that show their MAX ticket. The shuttle will run two hours before game time as well as two hours after games. The shuttle will go back and forth between the MAX Light Rail stop at Orenco Station and the ballpark approximately every 15 minutes depending on traffic flow.

In an effort to create a swift egress following Hops games, traffic signals will be controlled post-game and the Hillsboro Police Department will direct traffic to Highway 26.

The two most convenient exits for fans to use in order to get to and from the ballpark and Highway 26 are the Cornelius Pass exit or the Brookwood exit.

The Hillsboro Hops will play their first season in Oregon after moving from Yakima, Washington. The team will begin their 76-game regular season this Friday, June 14th with a three-game series against the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes in Salem. The Hops will make their home debut in Hillsboro on Monday, June 17th when they play host to Eugene Emeralds for a three-game series. For a complete 2013 Hillsboro Hops schedule, click here.
