KNOXVILLE, TN - The Knoxville Smokies have announced the team will host public naming contests for the club’s two new mascots.

A new father and son bear duo are coming to Covenant Health Park and East Tennessee this spring. Posters like the one listed below (right) were placed around Downtown Knoxville yesterday. Fans are encouraged to visit smokiesbaseball.com/mascots to submit their name for the new face of the Smokies.

The Smokies are also seeking the assistance of children specifically to help name the new lovable younger mascot coming to Knoxville. The Smokies have sent coloring pages to area schools, encouraging teachers to share the pages with their students. Downloadable print-outs of the coloring pages and a link to submit their masterpieces can be found at smokiesbaseball.com/mascots.

A press conference with the official naming and mascot debuts will take place later next month at the new home of Smokies Baseball, Covenant Health Park.

The Knoxville Smokies full baseball schedule for the 2025 season and season ticket information can be found online at smokiesbaseball.com, or by calling the Smokies Ticket Office at 865-286-2300.
