CAPTAINS ANNOUNCE 2019 GIVEAWAY DATES AND A SPECIAL APPEARANCE

The Lake County Captains, the Class-A affiliate of the Cleveland Indians, have numerous exciting giveaways in store for fans this season. The initial list of giveaways will include a fleece blanket, a lunchbox, a Skipper Moon Landing bobblehead and the popular Youth Jersey. More giveaways will be announced at a later date.
 The giveaways begin on Opening Night, Thursday, April 4. The first 1,500 fans through the gates will receive a Captains Fleece Blanket, presented by Lake Health. In addition, all fans attending the game on Opening Night will receive Captains 2019 Magnet Schedules compliments of Wickliffe Country Place.
On Friday, May 3 the Captains will welcome former Indian favorite Cory Snyder to Classic Park. Snyder played nine seasons in the big leagues 1986 to 1994 for the Indians, Chicago White SoxToronto Blue JaysSan Francisco Giants, and Los Angeles Dodgers
In addition to Snyder signing autographs in the concourse, the Captains will offer a limited amount of VIP meet-and-greet packages.  
Saturday June 22, the Captains will give away a Captains themed lunchbox presented by Lake Health to the first 1,500 fans through the gates.
 
The Captains will feature several exciting bobblehead giveaways this season. The bobblehead fun starts on Friday, July 19 when the first 1,500 fans into the ballpark will receive a Skipper Moon Landing bobblehead presented by Lake Health celebrating the 50th anniversary of the original moon landing where Neil Armstrong made "one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind".
 
Saturday July 20 is the annual 'Salute to Cleveland Sports History Night" where the Captains will once again offer a special VIP package featuring a Jobu bobblehead. In the movie "Major League", Jobu is the spiritual leader of Cleveland Indians outfielder Pedro Cerrano. The VIP packages will be limited. 
On Sunday, July 21, the Captains will give away a Marshall Paw Patrol bobblehead courtesy of Sysco to the first 1,000 kids 12 years of age and under. There will a special appearance by Rubble from Paw Patrol that night. The Captains will wear Paw Patrol jerseys that will be auctioned off to benefit Captains Charities.
 
Saturday, August 24, the first 1,000 fans age 12 and under will receive a Youth Jersey, presented by Stanley Steemer.
