Batting

<p>Kevin Kouzmanoff led a 2004 Captains offense that statistically ranks as one of the best in Captains history. Kouzmanoff himself still holds single-season Captains records for batting average, hits, doubles and OPS.</p>
<p>Emmanuel Tapia accepts his check after becoming the second Captain ever to hit a home run off the centerfield lighthouse. Tapia hit a Captains record 29 home runs in 2017, helping Lake County to a club record 153 home runs as a team.</p>
<p>Delvi Cid was one of three Captains to steal 25+ bases in 2009, en route to a club record 166.</p>
<p>Cirilo Cumberbatch rounds third to score one of the Captains' record 737 runs in 2007.</p>

<p>Roberto Hernández was the unquestioned ace of a 2003 Captains staff that is still statistically the best pitching assemblage in team history. His 17 wins and 2.06 ERA from that season are among many Captains records that still stand.</p>
<p>Alex Royalty's 100 strikeouts led the 2019 Captains, who set a team record with 1,207.</p>
<p>The 2015 Captains set a record for fewest walks as a pitching staff. Sean Brady's 1.8 BB/9 was the lowest rate among Captains starters that season.</p>
<p>Lefty Keith Ramsey spun three of the Captains' record five complete games during the club's inaugural 2003 season.</p>
<p>Julian Merryweather's 5.75 K/BB rate led a Captains staff that set a team record with a 3.18 mark in 2015.</p>
