Tonight, Gilberto Vizcarra continued his stretch of impressive play with 3 RBIs while throwing out two runners. His play was enough to give the Storm the early lead, however, it was newcomer Cole Cummings who broke the tie with a towering home run over the right field wall to give the Storm the lead for the final time. Jack Stronach would give the Storm some insurance in the bottom of the 8th with a blast to the right field video board.

On the final Traditional Tuesday of the summer, the Storm beat the 66ers by a score of 6-4.

The game started out in a worrisome fashion ass two singles gave the 66ers an early 1-0 lead. However, in the bottom of the 1st, the Storm would load the bases culminating in a Vizcarra double to give them a 4-1 lead. The 66ers would get 1 run back in the next half-inning but following that scored run, neither team would score again until the 5th inning.

The 66ers would ultimately claw their way back into the game after Ethan Rhoutzan's earned run in the top of the 7th inning. Luckily, the Storm would answer back quickly as Cole Cummings would hit his 2nd home run in just his 7th Storm game. Stronach would provide insurance in the bottom of the 8th inning with his own solo blast setting Jason Reynolds up for a 2 inning save.

You can catch the Storm tomorrow night for Woof Wednesday at 6:35pm.
