Flying Tigers to host three Fireworks Shows this Weekend!

The Flying Tigers will host three fireworks shows during the upcoming 4th of July weekend. The first show will be the City of Lakeland's annual 4th of July celebration at Joker Marchant Stadium. The festivities will begin when the Flying Tigers take on the Fort Myers Miracle. Gates will open at 4:00 p.m. First pitch is scheduled for 5:00 p.m.

At the conclusion of the game, one of Florida's last great honky tonk bands, Buck Hummer and the Pick-Ups will perform on the field. A spectacular fireworks show will highlight the evening beginning at approximately 9:00 p.m.

Saturday, July 5th will be another Skyrocket Saturday, this time with a patriotic theme. Fireworks will explode in the sky at the conclusion of the game between the Miracle and the Flying Tigers (weather permitting). Gates will open at 5:00 p.m. Game time is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.

Sunday, July 6th is Kids Day so children (14 and under) will receive free admission and a coupon for a free sundae courtesy of Dairy Queen. Kids will also have the opportunity to play catch on the field prior to the start of the game and run the bases at the conclusion of the game (weather permitting).

Tickets are $6 for box seats or $5 for reserved seats. All seniors (55 and over) and children (14 and under) will receive a $1 discount. Parking is free.

Tickets for the upcoming 4th of July weekend and for all remaining home games can be purchased in the "Tickets" section at www.LakelandFlyingTigers.com and at the Joker Marchant Stadium Box Office located at 2301 Lakeland Hills Boulevard in Lakeland.
