Max Gun joined the Hillcats prior to the 2018 season as the team's seventh Broadcaster and Media Relations Manager. He serves as the team's lead play-by-play voice for all 140 games, while also writing the club's press releases, game notes, game stories and managing the Hillcats website. A native of West Bloomfield, Mich., Gun studied Broadcast Journalism at Michigan State University, where he graduated in 2015. He broke into minor league baseball in 2016 as a Broadcast and Media Relations Assistant for the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes (Advanced-A, LA Dodgers) and held the same position in 2017 for the Altoona Curve (Double-A, Pittsburgh Pirates). In the winter, Gun calls play-by-play for several sports at Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University and University of Puget Sound.
