Missions Looking to Add On-Field Talent

SUMMARY:
The On-field Emcee will work directly under the Assistant General Manager and will assist in all aspects of the Missions promotions. The San Antonio Missions are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, and passionate individual to be the voice and face of the franchise as one of the On-Field Emcee's for the 2018 season. The individual will be an integral part of the in-game entertainment experience at Wolff Stadium, and must show creativity and initiative in coming up with daily crowd interaction, engagement, entertainment, and promotions.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Execute in-game promotions and events including but not limited to: pregame and post game promotions, and on-field contests
Encourage excitement among fans (this includes dancing, chanting, and singing)
Bring a creative mind to the role in order to keep the Missions entertainment fresh and exciting
Show creativity and initiative in coming up with daily crowd interaction, engagement, entertainment, and promotions
Must come with a wide range of cheers and other fan engagement techniques
Greet and interact with customers
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Outgoing and motivated
Fan-friendly attitude and willingness to help
Must be comfortable speaking in front of large audiences
Must have worked in some sort of a Live Production (TV, Radio or Stage)
Ability to understand game scripts and adapt quickly to changes
Ability to project and communicate clearly to large audiences
Ability to take direction
Great sense of humor
Able to engage and interact with fans
Willing to dress up for theme nights
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Ability to deal with frequent change
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
Must be a team player and able to work well with the promotions team or another Emcee.
Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays in accordance with the game schedule
