Digital Ticketing Guide
What is this change to my account and why is it happening?
This change is being made to connect your ticketing account with MLB.com’s account services and is intended to make the ballpark experience easier for you. For the first time, you’ll be able to purchase, access, manage, and scan your tickets using an MLB account.
Why are we moving to digital ticketing?
Digital tickets make getting into the game faster, safer, and more convenient than ever! No more lost, forgotten, or fake tickets — plus, you can easily manage and forward your tickets anytime. This also ensures a smooth, contact-free experience at Nelson W. Wolff Stadium.
What’s my account login?
Log in using your MLB Ballpark / MyProVenue account email and password — the same info used for your Padres Ticket Account. If you don’t have an MLB account yet, click Sign Up to create one. All tickets are tied to the email you used to purchase online or by phone. Need help? Click here to email Ticket Operations Coordinator, Lizzy Woeste.
Will group tickets be digital?
Yes! Most, if not all group tickets are now distributed digitally and can be easily forwarded to your group members. Sales reps can also help with mass distribution. Check out the Forward Your Tickets section above for instructions.
How do I purchase tickets?
Tickets can be purchased online, in person, or by phone — just like always. When buying in person, your tickets will automatically be added to your My Tickets account, and you’ll receive an email link for easy access.
Can I purchase tickets at the stadium Box Office?
Absolutely! The Box Office is open on game days with hours designed to fit your schedule. From Tuesday through Saturday, it’s open from 12:00pm until 9:00pm or until the 7th inning, whichever comes first. On Sundays with a 1:05pm first pitch, the Box Office opens at 10:00am and closes at 3:00pm or the 7th inning. For Sunday games starting at 6:05pm, hours are from 12:00pm until 8:00pm or the 7th inning. The Box Office is closed on non-game days.
Tickets purchased at the Box Office will be digital. Anyone purchasing tickets at the Box Office who does not already have an account will have one automatically created. This ensures lost tickets can be quickly recovered using the purchaser’s name and provides a faster, smoother experience for future purchases.
Can I add tickets to my Apple Wallet or Google Wallet?
Absolutely! After accessing your tickets, click Add to Wallet to store them on your mobile device for quick, easy scanning at the gate.
How can I ensure I can access my tickets on game day via smartphone?
We highly recommend adding your tickets to Apple Wallet or Google Pay before arriving. This way, they’ll be saved locally on your device and ready to scan — even if cell service is spotty.
What do I show at the ballpark gates for entry?
Present the QR code or barcode from your phone or printed ticket. A Missions staff member will scan it for entry. If you DO NOT have a barcode, please make your way to the 1st or 3rd base box office for assistance.
Can I print my ticket from home?
Yes! Log in to your Missions account, go to My Tickets, and click View & Print. You can also use the link included in your confirmation email. Check out the Accessing Tickets From Confirmation Email section above for instructions.
Can I have multiple tickets on a single phone?
Yes! If your group is entering together, you can store all tickets on one phone and swipe between them for scanning.
What if I want to buy a ticket for someone else?
You can! But if you’re not attending with them, you’ll need to forward their tickets via email. Log in to your account, select Forward, and enter the recipient’s email address.
Will someone see if I forward a ticket to them?
Yes. The recipient will receive an email notification. If they don’t have an account, they’ll be prompted to create one to accept the ticket.
If I receive a forwarded ticket, can I forward it to someone else?
Yes! Tickets can be forwarded multiple times. Both the sender and recipient will get confirmation emails each time the ticket is transferred.
