Modesto, CA. - Reggie Lawson silenced the Modesto Nuts' bats in a 9-1 loss to the Lake Elsinore Storm on Monday night at John Thurman Field.
The only run the Nuts (16-22) scored was in the fourth inning. After Lawson (W, 3-1) walked two batters with one out, Joe Rizzo drove in Evan White with a RBI single. That was the Nuts' first of just three hits against Lawson who worked seven innings and struck out three.
