BILOXI, MS - The Montgomery Biscuits (10-9) dropped their fourth straight and the series with it to the Biloxi Shuckers (10-10) in a 6-1 loss on Saturday night at Keesler Federal Park.

The Shuckers tallied all six runs in the second and third innings, including a pair of two-out home runs in the third to make it 6-0. Duncan Davitt retired the final seven hitters he faced and pushed to five innings in his fourth start.

Montgomery left 11 runners on and has left 34 on base in the last three games. The Biscuits broke the shutout in the ninth, with four walks bringing in a run.

Homer Bush Jr singled in the eighth to extend his hitting streak to eight games. He has 14 hits over that span. Tatem Levins reached base three times for a second straight night, drawing three walks.

The series finale is on Sunday afternoon at Keesler Federal Park. Owen Wild will make the start for Montgomery while Tate Kuehner is slated to start for Biloxi. The first pitch is at 1:05pm CT. Fans can listen on Jox 740, MLB At Bat, and Bally Live.
