*Game Summary: *The Oklahoma City Dodgers notched a season-high 18 hits and scored in double digits for a second straight game, defeating the Sacramento River Cats, 10-4, Tuesday night in the series opener at Sutter Health Park. The game was tied, 2-2, through five innings before the Dodgers ripped off the game’s next eight runs. Jake Lamb put OKC back in front with a RBI single in the sixth inning, and an additional run scored on the play due to a Sacramento fielding error. The Dodgers then erupted for six runs in the eighth inning, scoring each of the final five runs with two outs. Following a sac fly by Lamb, Kevin Pillar knocked a RBI single. Later in the inning, Jason Martin provided a two-run single, and Tony Wolters stepped up and delivered a two-run double. All four Sacramento runs scored between three home runs.

Of Note:

-Tuesday marked the Dodgers’ fourth straight win, which is already the team’s second four-game win streak through the season’s first 13 games. During the winning streak, the Dodgers have outscored their opponents, 33-10.

-The Dodgers set a season high with 18 hits Tuesday. All nine players recorded at least one hit and seven players finished with multi-hit games. Zach McKinstry and Eddy Alvarez led the team with three hits apiece.

-OKC scored 10 runs for a second straight game and reached double-digit runs for the fifth time in the last nine games. They also scored at least six runs in an inning for the third time during the same nine-game stretch and in a second consecutive game.

-Eddy Alvarez went 3-for-5, picking up his third three-hit game of the season. He drove in each of the team’s first two runs with a RBI single in the first inning and a solo homer in the third inning. Alvarez has now hit safely in five straight games (9-for-23) and 10 of his 11 games overall this season.

-Zach McKinstry went 3-for-6 and scored a game-high three runs. It was McKinstry’s third straight multi-hit game, during which time he is 7-for-15. McKinstry now has 21 hits through 12 games and is batting .404 with seven multi-hit games.

-Ryan Noda went 2-for-4 with a double and a walk, extending his hitting streak to 10 games. The streak is tied for the longest in the PCL this season and during his hitting streak, Noda is 17-for-37 (.459) with three doubles and four homers, along with 12 RBI, 11 runs scored and seven walks. His .519 on-base percentage leads the PCL.

-The Dodgers finished 5-for-16 with runners in scoring position. During the current road trip, they are batting .362 (25-for-69) with RISP across the first six games.

-Los Angeles Dodgers reliever Tommy Kahnle made his first appearance with OKC on Major League Rehab Assignment. Kahnle entered the game in the fifth inning and faced three batters before reaching his pitch limit. He did not allow a hit but was charged with one run and finished with one walk and one strikeout. Kahnle threw 17 pitches, with nine strikes.
