Of Note:

-The Dodgers hit four home runs Thursday night for their highest single-game home run total since May 12 in Round Rock when the team hit a season-high six homers. Thursday was the third time this season the Dodgers hit four or more homers in a game…James Outman connected on his first Triple-A home run in the first inning, connecting on a three-run shot out to right field…Eddy Alvarez hit solo home runs in the fourth inning and sixth inning as a Dodgers player recorded a multi-homer game for a second straight night…Jason Martin hit his team-leading 17th home run in the fifth inning.

-Eddy Alvarez went 4-for-5 with two home runs and five RBI in first game back with OKC since June 2 after a stint with the Los Angeles Dodgers during which he played 14 games. His four hits and five RBI were both season-high marks and his highest totals since he finished with four hits and five RBI July 13, 2021 during a rehab stint with Low-A Jupiter last season…On Thursday he recorded the second multi-homer game of his career and first since Aug. 23, 2014 with Low-A Kannapolis when he also hit two home runs.

-Michael Busch went 3-for-5 with a double, RBI and scored two runs, tying his season-high mark with three hits. He also recorded three hits June 18 in Reno with OKC and twice previously this season with Double-A Tulsa.

-Jason Martin hit his sixth homer in the last nine games and seventh homer in his last 11 games, pacing the PCL in home runs during the span (since June 25). His 17 total home runs this season lead the Dodgers, and of his 73 total hits this season, 38 have gone for extra bases.

-Drew Avans doubled and scored a run Thursday as he extended his season-best on-base streak to 22 games. The on-base streak is the longest by an OKC player this season and the team’s longest since Gavin Lux reached base in 37 consecutive games during the 2019 season…Avans has now hit safely in 18 of his last 22 games.

-Sam Gaviglio (6-3) pitched 5.0 scoreless innings as he recorded his sixth win of the season — tied for most on the team this season. He allowed five hits with four walks and six strikeouts. It was his third scoreless outing in his last four appearances and his longest outing since pitching 5.1 innings May 24 against Reno in OKC. His six strikeouts tied his season high.

-The Dodgers pitching staff recorded 14 strikeouts Thursday, hitting the mark for a fourth straight game. OKC pitchers have now racked up 58 strikeouts over the last four games.

-OKC allowed two runs Thursday night, holding an opponent to fewer than seven runs for the first time in seven games. Prior to Thursday, the Dodgers allowed at least seven runs in five straight games, including double-digit run totals in four straight games…On the other hand, the Dodgers’ offense hit double digits for a second straight game for the first time since June 16-17 in Reno.

-The Dodgers have won back-to-back games for the first time since June 26 against Round Rock and June 28 in El Paso. The consecutive wins have tied the six-game series against the Aviators, 2-2.
