Between five MLB clubs, the Indiana native posted a 112-111 record and 4.60 ERA (1,878.0 IP) across 334 appearances (328 starts), adding 664 walks and 1,520 strikeouts between the Minnesota Twins (2013-19), Texas Rangers (2020-21), Philadelphia Phillies (2021-22), Baltimore Orioles (2023-24), and St. Louis Cardinals (2024). He was also named an American League All-Star in 2021, firing a scoreless frame in the Midsummer Classic at Coors Field in Denver, Colorado.
Gibson was selected by the Twins as the 22nd overall selection in the first round of the 2009 MLB Draft out of the University of Missouri. Over his 87 minor league outings, including 85 starts, Gibson recorded a 25-24 mark and 3.26 ERA (439.1 IP), adding 122 walks and 405 strikeouts.
