Fireflies Holiday Lights Tickets on Sale Friday

COLUMBIA, S.C. — The Columbia Fireflies today announced that tickets for the fifth year of Fireflies Holiday Lights go on sale this Friday, October 9 at 10 am. This year, the ballpark will host over 2 million lights as the team promises the display will make the season brighter than ever.

Fireflies Holiday Lights are set to open November 20 and will run through January 3. The lights will be open each night over that time period excluding Thanksgiving (November 26), Christmas (December 25) and New Year’s Day (January 1). The lights will be open each night from 6 pm – 9 pm, with the lone exception of New Year’s Eve (December 31) when the lights will be open from 5 pm – 8 pm.

Tickets for the lights are sold on a general admission basis. November nights will cost $10 per person and December and January nights will cost $12 per person. Ticket costs will increase $2 per person on the day of the event. Beginning Friday at 10 am, fans can purchase tickets at FirefliesTickets.com.

“It’s amazing to see how much this tradition continues to grow each year,” Fireflies President Brad Shank said. “But now when I talk to fans in the summer, it’s something that people tell me they continue to look forward to doing with their family and friends. That honor isn’t something we take for granted. This year, we’re continuing to expand and make this show bigger and better with new displays and the most lights we have ever had to be sure to brighten the holidays for everyone who joins us for this holiday tradition.”

Fans can also purchase tickets for the Fireflies Igloos on the Infield beginning Friday. Last year, the igloos were sold out 27 nights, including every night from December 10 until December 26. This year, 10 total igloos are available each night two new 10-person igloo to go along with eight six-person igloos.

Each igloo comes with a charcuterie board, bottomless hot chocolate and coffee, six bottled waters, cookies and an igloo attendant who can provide additional food and beverages at an added cost. The six-person igloos are available for $198 per night ($33 per person, including admission to the event) and the 10-person igloos are available for $330 per night ($33 per person, including admission to the event).

Concourse Suites are available for 15-25 people and includes a private bartender and a buffet that will be served from 6-7:45 pm. The option is available for $40 per person.
