The visiting Reno Aces beat the Salt Lake Bees 6-1 to snap five-game winning streak for the Bees.
Salt Lake narrowly staved off their first shutout of the season as David Fletcher delivered a two-out RBI single in the bottom of the ninth to give the Bees their only run of the game. The Bees remain the only Minor League Baseball to not be involved in a shutout, for or against, and the only Pacific Coast League team to not be shutout this season.
Félix Peña (0-2) got the start for the Bees taking the loss after allowing three runs over three innings. Dylan Unsworth pitched four innings in relief allowing three runs (two earned) and Ryan Clark posted his second scoreless outing since joining the Bees from Double-A Mobile. Reno starter Taylor Clarke (6-5) allowed just three hits over five innings to pick up the win. Fletcher and Francisco Arcia had two-hit nights for the Bees who finished just 1-for-11 with runners in scoring position.
