Iowa jumped out to an early 5-0 lead in the top of the third inning and never looked back. Reno chipped away with two in the bottom of the third, one in the sixth and one in the seventh. That's a First: Max Murphy joined the Reno Aces from Visalia this afternoon as part of a series of roster moves. Murphy went 2-for-3 in his first Triple-A game with a solo home run. The 26-year-old Robbinsdale, Minnesota native signed a Minor League Free Agent contract with the Diamondbacks on July 16 of this season. Murphy appeared in 11 games with Advanced-A Visalia this year. He hit .353 with four doubles and two RBI.
