Amarillo Sod Poodles Reveal 2027 Home Schedule

AMARILLO, TX (August 4, 2026) – The Amarillo Sod Poodles today announced the home game schedule and opponents for the 2027 regular season. Texas League action next season begins on Friday, April 2, with Amarillo opening on the road before kicking off the home slate on Tuesday, April 6, at HODGETOWN.

With 138 regular season games scheduled over nearly six months, the Sod Poodles will play 69 games at home featuring top prospects from the Arizona Diamondbacks organization alongside the best up-and-coming talent from every opposing Texas League club.

Amarillo’s home opener is scheduled for Tuesday, April 6, against the Northwest Arkansas Naturals (Kansas City Royals) and the Soddies will play their final regular season home game of 2027 on Sunday, September 5 against the Tulsa Drillers (Los Angeles Dodgers).

The Soddies will have plenty in store for Fourth of July weekend as they host a six-game series through the holiday weekend against the visiting Wichita Turbo Tubs (Minnesota Twins). June features the most action at HODGETOWN with the Soddies home for 14 days that month, including a two-week homestand beginning June 1. Additionally, Amarillo will host nine consecutive games coming out of the All-Star Break (July 12-15) in the latter half of July.
