Andrew Miller to rehab with the Captains on Saturday night

(Eastlake, OH) - The Lake County Captains, Class-A affiliate of the Cleveland Indians, have been informed that Indians relief pitcher Andrew Miller will make a rehab appearance with the Captains on Saturday night. The Captains play host to the Great Lakes Loons (Los Angeles Dodgers) for game one of a four-game series. First pitch is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. at Classic Park.
Miller, who has been sidelined since May 26 with right knee inflammation, is expected to pitch in relief on Saturday for the Captains. The 33-year old southpaw pitched three times for the Tribe's Triple A- Affiliate, the Columbus Clippers, and pitched for the Double-A Akron RubberDucks on Tuesday as part of his rehab assignments for Cleveland.
Miller has pitched in 17 games this year for the Indians and has gone 1-3 with a 4.40 ERA in 14.1 IP. Miller was acquired by the Indians from the New York Yankees at the trade deadline in 2016 for four former Captains. Clint Frazier (2014), Ben Heller (2014), J.P. Feyereisen (2015) and Justus Sheffield (2015) were all included in the deadline deal for Miller.
