Charleston immediately answered with one in the third and another in the fourth. The RiverDogs had a chance to plate more in the fourth inning after a wild sequence of events.

The RiverDogs cut the lead to 7-4 with two runs in the fifth but Rosa dialed in. Asheville added another run on Decolati's RBI triple in the sixth. The Tourists bullpen kept the RiverDogs quiet but in the bottom of the ninth the visitors brought the tying run to the plate.
The Tourists will finish out their 2019 regular season home slate on Thursday night with a 7:05pm first pitch. Asheville and Augusta remain tied for first with five games left to play. Charleston is now four games back of both teams.
