MOBILE, Ala. (June 10, 2018) - The Mobile BayBears, the Double-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels, scored eight runs in the first two innings but fell to the Jackson Generals 10-9 Sunday evening at Hank Aaron Stadium.
The BayBears (34-28) tallied eight runs on nine hits against Shelby Miller in his third Major League rehabilitation start. Miller, who allowed just two runs on eight hits and worked into the fifth in each of his first two outings, only lasted three innings and threw 65 pitches.
Jared Walsh went 2-for-3 with a three-run homer in the second to give Mobile its largest lead, 8-5. Walsh matched his career-high with five RBIs.
Yuhei Nakaushiro (1-1), Kirby Bellow, and Kevin Ginkel held the BayBears hitless for five consecutive innings after Miller departed. However, Brennon Lund started the ninth with a solo home run to cut the deficit to 10-9. Mobile loaded the bases with one out, but Brad Goldberg struck out two batters to earn his first save.

Jose Rodriguez (5-6) let up a career-high nine runs on 13 hits in a four-inning start.
