BELOIT, WI - The Beloit Snappers will greet the Quad Cities River Bandits, Class-A affiliate of the Houston Astros, at Pohlman Field for the first time this year for a four-game, wrap-around weekend series. With the First Half winding down, the Snappers and River Bandits are jostling for position to make a late push for the playoffs with each team within reach of a Wild Card slot & the division title.
This homestand will feature the first postgame fireworks display of the season on Saturday, June 10 presented by Rock Energy Cooperative. Friday night will kick off the brief four-game stay with a special celebration of Snappy's 22nd birthday and a 'School's Out Special' for students in the Stateline area. Students can get free tickets for Friday's game on June 9 by going to Culver's of Beloit and presenting their student ID card.
