Bid on our July 4th jerseys from your smartphone

Want to bid on our game-worm, autographed July 4th jerseys? Instead of our traditional silent auction on the concourse, fans from all over can bid on our July 4th jerseys on their smartphone! All proceeds from the jersey auction will benefit the Challenger Miracle Field of Greater Rochester!
The auction will be open on Tuesday, July 4 from 5:30 pm until 9:00 pm.

Just follow these steps:
CREATE YOUR ACCOUNT
1. Visit http://bit.ly/rocmiraclefield to register to take part in Online Bidding. Follow the instructions to create your account
2. Once registered you will receive a text message inviting you to participate. Just click the link! 
3. If you do not receive a text message, please notify a bid assistant/volunteer for assistance. 
4. If you do not have a smartphone but would like to participate, please notify a bid assistant/Red Wings employee for assistance. We will have a table with tablets set up by the horse in the main breezeway for anyone needing help.
BIDDING - USING YOUR SMARTPHONE
1. Each game worn, autographed jersey will have an item number, starting at #101, and a description including the name of the player, their number and the size of the jersey. 
2. Place a bid:
- Quick Bid - Bid the next increment. 
- Bid - Let the system automatically place bids for you by using the Max Bid option! Bidding will automatically continue in your favor until your max bid is reached or until the auction closes. If your bid is lower than the highest max bid on that package, you will be prompted to enter a higher bid. To place a straight bid, turn the Max Bid feature off and select your desired amount.
- Buy Now - If this option is enabled, you can purchase the package for the price listed ($300).
3. If you are outbid, you will be notified via text message. You will also see a notification on your home screen. 
BIDDING - USING A BID ASSISTANT/RED WINGS EMPLOYEE
1. Locate a Bid Assistant at the horse in the main breezeway just inside the front gates. 
2. Give the Bid Assistant your name. 
3. Provide the number or name of the package you wish to bid on, and the amount you wish to bid. 
4. Watch the Leaderboard or check back in with a Bid Assistant to see if you are still the highest bidder. 
MAKING A DONATION
1. To make a donation, select the Donation button on your home screen. 
2. Choose a preset amount or select the Custom Amount button. 
AFTER THE AUCTION CLOSES
1. Once the auction closes at 9 pm, the guest with the highest bid will win that jersey. 
2. Go to My List to view your packages.
3. Jerseys will be available for pick-up beginning on July 6 at Frontier Field. For those out of the area who win a jersey, you will need to contact the Red Wings about shipping details.
