Delmarva has outscored Rome 23-7 over the last three games.

A throwing error in the first inning lead to Rome's first run but Delmarva tied the game 1-1 in the second on Milton Ramos' RBI single. The Braves took the lead in the third on Marcus Mooney's RBI groundout and Cristian Pache's run scoring force out for the 3-1 score. The Shorebirds inched back in the sixth on Gerrion Grim's run scoring groundout for the 3-2 score. In the seventh, Delmarva grabbed a 6-3 lead thanks to a run scoring single by Jake Ring and a bases clearing three run double by Preston Palmeiro. The Shorebirds added another run in the eighth for the
7-3 final.           
Kory Groves (3-2) gets the win in relief while Rome's Ryan Schlosser (0-1) is hit with the loss. Rome's starter Tucker Davidson pitched well going six innings allowing just four hits and two runs while fanning eight. 
The Braves and Shorebirds will play tomorrow in the final game of the series at 1 p.m.
