Braves, State Mutual Stadium scheduled for five regular-season shows

The Rome Braves, Single-A affiliate of the Atlanta Braves, are proud to announce five post-game fireworks shows for the 2020 regular-season which begins Thursday, April 9 with a seven-game homestand against Hagerstown and Greenville. The upcoming season marks the Rome Braves 18th season at State Mutual Stadium.

New, primary videoboard to stand 26.4' high by 48' wide at State Mutual Stadium

The Rome Braves, Single-A affiliate of the Atlanta Braves, unveiled plans to build a new high definition video board at State Mutual Stadium prior to the start of the 2020 season. In addition to the new, primary display in left field, the Rome Braves also announced upgrades to the existing Go Braves board along with the matrix board near the entrance of Braves Boulevard.

The Rome Braves have announced its 18th annual Hot Stove Gathering will be held at Forum River Center in Downtown Rome Monday, January 27 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM. The annual event benefits the Atlanta Braves Foundation along with Armuchee High School Baseball this year and features appearances from current and former Rome Braves along with current and former Atlanta Braves representatives.

Asheville got strong starting pitching from Colten Schmidt and a late blast from league RBI leader Coco Montes. Despite their victory, Asheville was eliminated from postseason contention Sunday night when Augusta beat Columbia, making the GreenJackets second-half Southern Division champions.
