Rome picked up their first run in the second inning when Jordan Rodgers laced an RBI double in the gap, scoring Kurt Hoekstra from first.

This ended a lengthy twenty inning run scoring drought for the Braves. Rome added their second run in the sixth when Kurt Hoekstra's opposite field single brought home Cristian Pache for the 2-0 score. The Braves then added an insurance run in the eighth inning on an Austin Bush RBI double before Brandon S. White shut the door in the ninth for the 3-0 final. Tucker Davidson was magnificent for the Braves, going five shutout innings giving up only four hits.
Davidson (2-3) earns the win for Rome while Jhonathan Diaz (2-3) takes the loss for Greenville. White (10) picks up the save.
The Braves and Drive face off in the finale of the three game series tomorrow at 7p.m.
