Seth Brown powered the RockHounds to a 9-4 win over the Arkansas Travelers Sunday afternoon at Security Bank Ballpark.
The 'Hounds first baseman homered for the second consecutive gave and drove in four runs, giving him six RBI in his last two games. He now has 85 ribbies for the season, just four behind Arkansas' Joey Curletta (89) for the Texas League lead.
Brown ripped a line drive into the short porch bullpen in right field with two men on in the third inning, breaking a 2-2 tie. He added an RBI single in the fourth inning and finished the game 2-for-2, adding a pair of walks.
Eli White, J.P. Sportman, Skye Bolt and Brett Vertigan added two hits each in a 14-hit attack.
The 'Hounds scored eight runs on 10 hits against Arkansas starter Ashton Goudeau, who had gone seven scoreless innings in each of his last two outings (both against the Frisco RoughRiders).
James Naile allowed four runs early but, after Logan Taylor's two-run home run with no outs in the fourth brought the Travelers to within 5-4, the right-hander settled in and did not allow a run the rest of the way, pitching through the eighth.
The RockHounds went 4-2 in the six-game homestand, taking 2-of-3 games from both Northwest Arkansas and Arkansas.
