Snappers pitcher Bryce Conley has been named the Midwest League's Pitcher of the Week, for the week of April 5th through 15th, as announced by league officials today. The right-hander becomes the first Snappers player to be named Player of the Week for the 2018 season, and the first since Zach Erwin was named Pitcher of the Week on August 28, 2017.

The 23-year-old Conley was part of three pitchers to combine for a no-hitter on April 12 against the Burlington Bees. Conley, along with Ty Damron and Josh Reagan combined for the no-no, the second combined no-hitter and sixth no-hitter in franchise history.
Conley made his season debut on April 7 in Appleton, WI against the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers coming on in relief of Snappers starter Wyatt Marks. The Alpharetta, GA native tossed the final four innings in the Snappers 10-1 victory, picking up his first professional save while striking out four batters and walking just one.
In his first start of 2018 on April 12 against the Bees, Conley tossed the first six innings of the combined no-hitter. He retired the first 17 batters he faced before issuing a walk to Gleyvin Pineda to end the bid for a perfect game at 5.2 perfect innings pitched, but responded by striking out Spencer Griffin to end his day. He finished the day with six innings pitched and surrendered just the one walk while striking out four batters, picking up his first professional win as well.
In his first two appearances of the season, the Georgia State University product has yet to yield a hit or a run of any kind in 10 innings pitched this season.
This marks the first professional Player of the Week honor for Conley.
