PEORIA, IL – An Alec Burleson bobblehead giveaway, Homer’s Birthday and four postgame fireworks shows headline the start of a packed two-week homestand at Dozer Park. Fans can also enjoy postgame fireworks, theme nights, promotional giveaways, special discounts and more as the Chiefs host the Quad Cities River Bandits, the High-A affiliate of the Kansas City Royals, August 4-10.

The full homestand itinerary is listed below:

TUESDAY, AUGUST 4 at 6:35 p.m.; Taco Tuesday; Bark In The Park; Silver Sluggers

Kick off the homestand with $2 ground beef tacos and bring your four-legged friend along for Bark in the Park. Silver Sluggers members can redeem a Tuesday voucher or exchange unused tickets to a future game for $5.

WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 5 at 6:35 p.m.; Wallet Friendly Wednesday, presented by Ollie’s; Bark In The Park; Faith & Family; Postgame Fireworks

Stretch your dollar with $2 hot dogs and $2 nachos all game long. Dozer Park welcomes churches and community groups to the game, while dogs are welcome for the second straight day before fireworks cap off the evening.

THURSDAY, AUGUST 6 at 6:35 p.m.; Bucks For Brews; Bark In The Park; Postgame Fireworks

Gear up for the weekend with $2 domestic draft beers, $2 sodas and $4 craft beers. It’s the final Bark in the Park of the week and the second of four consecutive nights of postgame fireworks.

FRIDAY, AUGUST 7 at 7:05 p.m.; Stress Ball Giveaway, presented by IPTA; Physical Therapy Night, presented by IPTA; Family Fridays, presented by Firehouse Pizza & Pub; Postgame Fireworks, presented by CEFCU

The first 1,000 fans through the gates will receive a Chiefs stress ball. The Illinois Physical Therapy Association will be on hand to promote the benefits and importance of physical therapy. It’s also the perfect night to bring the whole family out to Dozer Park, where you can snag four tickets and two small pizza coupons to Firehouse Pizza & Pub for just $50. Stick around afterward for another fireworks show.

SATURDAY, AUGUST 8 at 7:05 p.m.; Alec Burleson Bobblehead Giveaway, presented by Miss Laura’s School of Dance; Hero Night; Postgame Fireworks, presented by Coca-Cola; Perros Bomberos de Peoria

The first 1,000 fans to enter Dozer Park can take home an Alec Burleson bobblehead, celebrating last year’s Silver Slugger Award winner. Burleson hit four home runs in 11 games with the Chiefs in 2021 before reaching the Cardinals the following year. Hang out with your favorite superheroes while the Chiefs take the field wearing alternate jerseys and hats in celebration of Peoria’s Hispanic community. Cap off the night with postgame fireworks.

SUNDAY, AUGUST 9 at 2:05 p.m.; Grand Slam Sunday, presented by OSF Children’s Hospital of Illinois; Homer’s Birthday

Happy Birthday, Homer! Celebrate the Chiefs’ beloved mascot with an afternoon of family fun. Kids 12 and under receive $5 admission and can enjoy postgame base running, catch on the field and player autographs following the game, and maybe snag one from Homer too on his special day!

The Chiefs continue their season-long 12-game homestand August 11-16, hosting the Beloit Sky Carp.
