'Cats with a big second, beat Portland 10-3

Manchester, N.H. - The New Hampshire Fisher Cats (45-31) scored five runs in the second inning, cruising to a 10-3 win over the Portland Sea Dogs (29-47) on Tuesday night at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium.

RHP Josh DeGraaf (2-4) worked five innings on just one run to earn the win for New Hampshire. LHP Kyle Hart (5-5) suffered his second straight loss, allowing a career-high nine runs (six earned) over 4.1 innings pitched.
The Fisher Cats took a 1-0 lead in the first inning on a sac-fly by Bo Bichette. In the second, Juan Kelley hit a two-run homer, and Jonathan Davis hit a three-run shot. Hart yielded a solo homer in the fourth inning to Jon Berti.
Davis went 4-for-4, hitting for the cycle, the first in team history. He picked up the triple in the sixth inning off of Adam Lau and scored on a groundout by Cavan Biggio.
Portland scored a run in the third on an error by SS Bo Bichette. Tate Matheny provided a run-scoring grounder in the sixth. In the eighth, Josh Ockimey (0-for-1, 3 BB) walked and scored on a two-out double by Luke Tendler (2-for-4).
Jordan Weems and Travis Lakins each worked two scoreless frames for Portland. Lakins has not allowed an earned run in all nine relief outings.
The Sea Dogs and New Hampshire Fisher Cats (Blue Jays affiliate) continue their four-game series on Wednesday night at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 PM. Lefty Matt Kent (5-4, 2.169 is on the hill for Portland. New Hampshire has not named their starting pitcher.
