CORPUS CHRISTI - Hooks infielder Randy César set a new franchise record on Wednesday night at Whataburger Field, extending his hit streak to 28 games in Corpus Christi's 4-2 comeback victory against the Frisco RoughRiders.
After three scoreless frames to begin the evening, Cesar notched a double on a grounder down the third base line for a leadoff hit in the fourth. Cesar would later score on Ryne Birk's RBI single to give Corpus Christi a 1-0 edge.
In his first start since coming off the disabled list, Akeem Bostick began the ballgame with three scoreless innings while allowing just a single hit. Kit Scheetz replaced Bostick and tossed two scoreless frames to keep the Hooks ahead.
In the sixth, Cionel Pérez entered and permitted an infield single to James Jones to begin the frame. After a strikeout and stolen base, Michael O'Neill reached base with another infield single. Josh Morgan evened the score with a sac fly to bring Jones into score. Jose Trevino then gave Frisco a 2-1 advantage with an RBI single.

After a scoreless eighth, Chris Nunn retired the side in order during the ninth to secure the victory.
