Chasers Return For Action-Packed Homestand on July 29

The Storm Chasers return to Werner Park to begin an eight-game homestand on Saturday, July 29. The action-packed week includes Christmas in July presented by Mannheim Steamroller with Christmas Sweater Jersey Auction (July 29), First Responders Night with Pre-Game On-Field Catch (July 30) and a Drawstring Backpack Giveaway presented by Huber Chevrolet (July 31).

Saturday, July 29 (7:05pm) vs. Fresno Grizzlies

• Christmas in July presented by Mannheim Steamroller: We're counting down to Christmas with Christmas in July presented by Mannheim Steamroller. Storm Chasers players & coaches will don special Christmas themed jerseys that will be auctioned off during the contest.
• Christmas Sweater Jersey Auction: In the spirit of Christmas (in July), Storm Chasers players and coaches will wear special Christmas sweater jerseys that will be auctioned off during the game. In addition, a jersey signed by Hall of Fame pitcher and Omaha native Bob Gibson will be auctioned off during the contest as well. All proceeds from the evening will help benefit Moving Vets Forward.
• Werner Enterprises Post-Game Fireworks: The skies above Werner Park will ignite with a post-game fireworks extravaganza presented by Werner Enterprises.

 Sunday, July 30 (5:05pm) vs. Fresno Grizzlies

• Pre-Game On-Field Catch: Fans will have a chance to play catch on the field pre-game on the last Sunday of each month. Gates will open 1 hour & 15 minutes prior to scheduled 1st pitch.
• Hy-Vee Canned Food Sundays: Fans will receive a free McDonald's berm ticket with the donation of two Hy-Vee branded canned good items at Werner Park on Sunday home dates with 2:05pm and 5:05pm start times. The canned goods will be donated to Heartland Hope Mission Pantry. 
• First Responders Night: The Storm Chasers will salute all of our first responders, with Police and Fire Departments from the Omaha Metro in attendance. Vehicles will also be open to the public inside and outside the ballpark that evening.

• U.S. Bank Family FUNday: Clowns and balloon artists will be out on the concourse for U.S. Bank Family FUNday, with Wildlife Encounters also at the ballpark.
• Hardee's Kids Run The Bases: Kids will be able to run the same bases as the Storm Chasers following the game! Parentsavvy.com Lil Chasers members will be able to run the bases first.
• Library Night presented by UnitedHealthcare: The Storm Chasers salute all students who achieved their Summer Reading Program goals, with those students redeeming their prize vouchers for a free ticket to the ballgame.

Monday, July 31 (7:05pm) vs. Fresno Grizzlies

• Drawstring Backpack Giveaway presented by Huber Chevrolet: The first 1,500 fans through the gates will receive a Drawstring Backpack courtesy of Huber Chevrolet.
• Library Night presented by UnitedHealthcare: The Storm Chasers salute all students who achieved their Summer Reading Program goals, with those students redeeming their prize vouchers for a free ticket to the ballgame.

 Tuesday, August 1 (12:05pm) vs. Fresno Grizzlies

• Day Game: Omaha and Fresno face off with baseball in the sunshine with a special 12:05pm start time. Please note that Tallboy Tuesday specials will not be in effect for this date. 

The homestand will continue with a four-game series against the Sacramento River Cats between August 3-6. Among the promotions of that half of the homestand are Thirsty Thursday with Fidget Spinners Giveaway presented by SPIN! Pizza (August 3), Hy-Vee Friday Fireworks on Harry Potter Night (August 4), Mommy & Minion Night presented by Shadow Lake Towne Center with special performances from Amazing Christopher (August 5) and Military Appreciation (August 6).
